Kurt is feeling pretty spunky this morning. I went to the hotel last night ~ Kurt's brother and sister stayed with him. So when I arrive this morning, he gives me a big hug and a kiss. And then....the Look. You know the Look ~ "Sweetheart, you are driving me nuts. I am going to say some words now to try to convince you to stop being so ridiculous." As you might imagine, I get that Look a fair bit. Totally unjustified.
So, Kurt tells me that he and I need to have a "food negotiation". As much as I hate to let the "solid liquids" vs "liquid liquids" babble continue :)....Kurt would prefer to be left alone with his solid liquids (Ensure) that are easy to consume, while I am trying to cajole him into nothing but solid foods, so that the fluids in his belly don't accumulate so fast. So, he lays the opening offer on the table, I counter, some back and forth takes place, we pause to agree on some terms of the negotiation, but in the end, I believe we came to a meeting of the minds. And then Kurt went back to sleep. :)
