Whew, what a day! Kurt has had lots of visitors, and though he sometimes drifts off to sleep in the middle of the visit, I know he is glad to see people.
The doctors ended up pulling off 5 liters of fluid today!! That has brought Kurt's heart rate and pulse down, plus made it easier for him to breathe. He was able to eat some food tonight, and is now sound asleep.
We just keep plugging away, one bit of good news and one bite of food at a time. This battle is far from over, but we keep fighting in faith and expecting good news.

You are both in our thoughts and prayers, every minute. Jennifer, you speak of Kurt's strength, and I am marveling at yours! He has an amazing partner in you. I am blown away by the strength you both are exhibiting. If this is a test of your faith and will, you're sure to pass. The two ends of my candle would have reached each other long before now. Kurt, I'm totally impressed by your strength and optimism... stop showing off! yes, I am 100% kidding.. by all means, keep it up! Stay just as stubborn as you can. I'm thrilled to hear how much fight you have in you :) Jen, your posts are wonderful and informative. I think i can speak for the rest of us in saying thank you so much! we really appreciate being deemed special and important enough to be kept in the loop :) It matters more than I can say.

I am still thinking about those liters of that poisonous fluid that my eldest grandbaby has been carrying around. Blows my mind! Still praying for complete and quick healing. Stay strong, Jen! Kurt, you just Heal! Jen,Where did you get that unique resolve to help pull your man back to good health?. Whatever it is, keep it up -- Love you both for it. My prayers will continue always for you. (Of course I think it's straight from the Lord - & I Thank & Praise HIM for it.)

Some in my own family think I am a fanatic about the LORD -- but I don't care, as long as it helps Kurt get healthier. Kurt & Jen , I love you both & never forget that God (Jesus) loves you so much more than I ever could. Oh Wow -- how much HE LOVES US ALL! think about it - staggering thought isn't it? I have also been accused of being too preachy -, but what the heck -- maybe i will someday. Right now I think it's just all the caffeine between prayers for the two of you.
