Day of Rest

I can not tell you how much Kurt and I appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received over the past 9 days.  We are so blessed to have you all in our lives, standing with Kurt as he claims the Lord's victory over sickness.  So, I hope you all will understand, but Kurt needs a day off of visitors. So Wednesday will be a no visitor day. Kurt is going to concentrate on eating, moving around a little, and studying the Word. I'll be posting the day's events, as they occur, but I expect tomorrow to be a quiet day. At the end of the day tomorrow, I think Kurt plans to read blog comments, emails, etc ~ so know that your messages of strength and support are getting to him and lifting his spirits.

Kurt asked me to post this note:

I love all my friends and I am sorry that I don't have the energy, but I need to build my spiritual energy back up. I am healed.

Kurt and Jen, May the rain that falls around us bring you both the healing and restoring rest that you seek. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Kurt,
I have been following your "War" and have been keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. You could not be in better hands than with Johns Hopkins, your family and friend, AND GOD! They are all healing hands.

Kurt – take all the time you need to rest – mentally and physically.
You have a large and strong group of people who love you & Jen and will be with you at all times with our thoughts & prayers.

Jen, make sure you get some rest also, I’m sure you need it.

Love you both and with you always in my heart.

Been thinking about both of you and hope that you find peace and rest today. I have my 'God squad" praying for you and holding you in their hearts. They are of many denominations, but they all possess an amazing spiritual strength and clarity. Take care and rest in the knowledge that you both are loved.

Kurt - my children (Sam and Caleb) and I send all our positive energy your way. They ride that little red moped you gave us every chance they get and I get immense joy watching them. You have fought the good fight with courage and fortitude and are an inspiration - Derek

Kurt, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I've been following your blog from the start and am just amazed by your strength and encouraged by your faith. Although I didn't work with you much at EVI, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the pranks you and the guys would pull at EVI. Looking forward to hearing about the many more pranks you will pull on unsuspecting folks. Enjoy your rest day.
