Update

Kurt should, hopefully, be starting to feel the sedation right about now. He just went into the treatment room about 15 minutes ago. The doctors tell us it will take about two hours for the procedure, then he needs about an hour or so to recover.

Kurt was in great spirits going in ~ mostly because he was doped up on about six pre-meds :) I have a tremendous amount of confidence in this radiologist. Everyone at the hospital raves about how good he is, and his attitude has been so in line with ours. He is a fighter, undaunted by the conventional wisdom about Stage IV cancer. He is exactly what Kurt needs right now.

I'll have more of a chance to learn about what to expect after the treatment, in terms of side effects, etc. Right now, I'm just so relieved that today is finally here. I'll post again once Kurt is home and settled.

Okay, we are putting on all our armor, according to Ephesians 6. You are there in the physical, battling, we are here in the spirit realm doing battle for you as well.
Expecting great things for you two.

p.s. are there a lot of people downtown for Michelle Bachmann's gathering?
