This site was created to keep our family and friends updated and connected as Kurt begins his battle with esophageal cancer. It is a place to get information, send prayers, and celebrate living. Kurt and I will both post to this site, sharing with you our experiences, emotions, and information....and probably occasional political commentary or whatever strikes us. Hey, it's our blog.
Kurt is being discharged this afternoon. It is a little risky....if his fever spikes back up, that is an issue. But, he's ready to be out of here and we will just pray for continued improvement.
That is good news! We all have much for which to be thankful, if we but enumerate our blessings. Kurt, I bet you will have a long list, even tho it's a bit difficult. SO Happy Thanksgiving, Everybody. We still have a great COUNTRY, even tho there is a lot of chaos. Thank GOD, HE IS IN CONTROL & will work things out for the BEST!! Love and Prayers -- G'ma D
