Winters in DC are not much fun, unless you happen to enjoy 37 degrees and rain. It's been raining for two straight days. It won't snow, it won't get warm, it just stays crappy. It's hard to stay positive when the weather's this crappy, but at least I've got the prospect of the new Obama administration to lift my spirits... (btw, Leon Panetta as head of the CIA?!?!)
Crappy weather aside, it was a good day today. I've got my brain back which meant that I got some things accomplished at work today. It feels good to be back again. Since we don't have kids yet and the dogs can only count for so much, work is really important to Jen and I. When I'm less than my best there due to things out of my control, it has a tendency to really get me frustrated. On the flip side, it makes me appreciate the good days even more. Tomorrow will be a good day, then Friday is the big scan day...
