I just flat love it when radio stations go to all Christmas music. I start playing Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving (not before) and don't stop until Dec. 26. Love it!
Sorry we haven't posted in a while ... it has been busy around here! Kurt's treatment went great last week -- nothing unusual. We've both been a little tired this week, but things don't seem to be slowing down much for us! The cold weather means we have to be a little more careful on the days after the big treatment -- the oxalyplatin makes Kurt sensitive to cold, and cold weather can make him uncomfortable. Of course, that didn't stop me from dishing him up a big scoop of ice cream to go with his pumpkin pie on Saturday after treatment. [Insert disgusted roll of the eyes here] Honestly, you would think I would have the hang of this stuff by now! If there is such a thing as sympathetic chemo brain, I definitely have it.

I'm with you on the Christmas music. Love it after Thanksgiving but not before.
From what I've read - sounds like you guys had a fun Thanksgiving. And it's nice to know Kurt is still allowed in the hopital to have his treatments.
Keep posting!

I have to try really hard to wait until after Thanksgiving to play Christmas music! I buy (at least!) one new Christmas CD a year, and it takes me a few days to get thru all of them! I love most Christmas music, from the traditional Carpenters's Christmas and classical Handel's Messiah, to the fun Bare Naked Ladies Christmas CD! Let me know if you want me to bring some of my collection for you next week! :) lotsalove, mom
Hey Guys! Looks like you had a happy thanksgiving. Kyla and John haven't aged a bit - they still look 17!
Glad the chemo is going well and thanks for keeping us posted.

Okay, since Kim confessed to the Carpenters, I'll own up to playing an old Anne Murray Christmas CD ad nauseam! She does a version of Away in A Manger that puts a lump in my throat everytime. And I, too, have Handel's Messiah - it's beautiful. At the other end of my collection - an old Boney M CD and a great mix (personal to Jen: it's so tempting!) called Christmas Cocktails!
