Ok, Kurt and I have our various rants out of our systems, and we are back to warm fuzzies....
We spent the day doing some volunteer work and running errands. Kurt has been full of energy, which continues to amaze me. And it feels good to do something for others, even if the magnitude of need here in DC sometimes overwhelms me.
We just took the dogs to the park, in the snow, which they love. Snow in DC is so beautiful ... something about this city, when it snows, is just magic. So now I am loading up Christmas music on my iPod, and we are settling in for movie night.
