Happy Holidays, everyone!!
Apologies for posting so late in the day. I was just settling in this morning to post, but ended up instead on a completely epic and totally ridiculous quest to purchase a Wii. Three short hours later, I have returned victorious!
Anyway, back to what matters. Kurt is well underway with treatment and all is going well. He is handling the chemo so well that the nurses are slowly cutting back on all the pre-meds, which means he doesn't get so loopy. Today's blood tests look good, and we are set for the next CT scan next week. We talked this morning about needing to redouble our diet and exercise routines -- everything has been going so smoothly, but we can't get complacent. That's our New Year's resolution.
Kurt and I will be spending New Year's Eve with a few friends, and we have a date at the Kennedy Center on New Year's Day. Expect tomorrow (or tonight's) post from one of us to accuse the other of cheating at Wii. ;)

Hey there. I had checked the posting page earlier. SO Glad things are going well. I hope and pray that the rest of your week goes well, also. No complacency, we must keep pressing in to complete this job & keep fighting this war. You (we) can do it. It's so good to be on the winning side. Hope you enjoy your new toy. So glad your day was good! My New Year's resolution is the same: not to get complacent about eating foods good for me and to just move more! The wii will help! LOL Remember to bowl carefully, Kurt; at least your carpet won't be as slick as the wood floor here! Have fun and enjoy that wii! Hope you got the numchuck thingys for the boxing! That's where you 2 might get a little cranky with each other! LOL Have fun! love and miss you already! /mom
