Did you? We just got back and are settling in to watch the night unfold. I just discovered Channel 352 (DirectTV), which is playing 8 screens of election coverage -- Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, BBC, and eventually, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox. It is the only thing making me smile tonight. That, and watching the CNN crew try to figure out how to work all their cool computer toys. They have zero idea what they are doing.
Let us know how your election night is going....

Yes, we voted this morning. ICK is right. It was hard to even get excited at all. Fortunately we got to the Sr. Citizen's center (where both of our local precincts voted) at the same time the high school seniors walked in to vote for the first time. There were 4 18 yr olds who voted; the rest of the class -- all 7 of them LOL -- just watched the process. There were cheers and applause as the kids handed over their ballots to the election judges, reminding me of the privilege we have, even tho' we may be less than excited about the probable outcomes of various national and local races.
Jack just tuned into ch. 352 and is a happy camper with his sudoko puzzle to help keep him occupied. I think we'll take a break from the commentary and predictions to catch up on a few shows we've TIVO'd over the past few weeks!
oh, there goes Ohio. Looks like that's just about ballgame....
Working on a new business plan that focuses on how to survive in a high tax, high regulation, union ridden, environmentalist focused, etc. etc. business climate.
Oh wait, I already live in NY.
The unions scare me the most. These guys will be unstoppable with the employer no choice act.
This guy is going to enable and encourage a whole bunch of really bad things.
Who is John Galt?
BMR.
Yuck is right. Our Mil Levy didn't pass here in Douglas County. :( Lots of change to come....unfortunately not as optimistic & such a good thing as the CHANGE campaign thinks it is. I am just sick.
Just watched his stupid acceptance speech. OUR VICTORY??? You're going to take our money away from us????? How is that our victory?
Feeling a little more positive this morning. We'll make it through. He is now our president-elect, so I'll be a proud American! Sorry for the negativity! Jen & Kurt hope you're doing great. Getting so excited to see you! Just a few more weeks....of report cards, standards grading, assessments, and student-led parent-teacher conferences. Ugh.
I had the arguments with Kurt a few months ago, but my election night went quite well - the first time I've ever seen a presidential candidate I voted for end up on top of the Electoral College. Enjoyed a party as well - at one point last night I was watching three different cable news channels one as many TVs, surfing with a laptop in my lap and my iPhone in my hand checking results.
For me, the best part is actually having an decisive outcome early on.
And it's probably good for you guys as well - Kurt can use his anger as motivation. Glad to hear things ended up going well at the last dose.
I voted.
Seriously considered voting libertarian but I remembered that they tend to be nuttier than squirrel turds (excuse my French).
Best wishes to the Owens (and all) from OH.
