Hopkins just called -- the first chemo appointment is set for next Wednesday. I'm both relieved and nervous. It makes all this seem so much more real, but I am glad to finally have this next front in the battle underway.

We will all be with you in spirit and pray Wednesday.
Love ya both!

I'm sure you're both apprehensive, but I think it'll also be a big relief to get something happening. The waiting is almost unbearable. Do you know yet if Dr. Donehower will follow his original chemo regimen or will he use Dr. Ahlgren's treatment or can he do a combination of both? And do you know for sure how often and for how long the treatments will last - or does he determine that as the treatment progresses?
I am going to master this blogging.
Just want you to know we are all praying ... and will be holding your hand in our mind and hearts.
Keep the faith. and remember, bald will be beautiful.
Love,

great news!
We don't know yet what chemo he will be using. Kurt is going to check on that tomorrow. And no, we don't know how long it will last. He told us that we go for a couple of weeks, then he checks to see how Kurt responds. But they start us next week with a chemo class, so hopefully that will make things more clear.
Be strong. Take no prisoners. Kick its ass.
Gotta stop there before I start channeling Patton.
Hey KurtOwen!
My thoughts and prayers will ever mindful of you.
Yer friend

2 Corinthians 12:9
"And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
Ahhhh. Good. You will be in our thoughts - the both of you. Love you! Tim & Kyla
We will most definitely be thinking of the both of you!
Love, Mara, Curt, and Payton
