The top bracelet is, of course, the LiveSTRONG Lance Armstrong bracelet, and the bottom periwinkle bracelet is for esophageal cancer awareness. The beautiful bracelet in the middle, combining both colors, was made by my mother-in-law, who makes absolutely incredible jewelry. I absolutely love the three-strand bracelets that she makes, and this one is really special to me. She is a whiz with jewelry, and hopefully, she will launch a website soon!
So, I'm pretty fancy. You're jealous, I know :)

At first I was reading this with Kurt's voice in my mind, which started to become funny about the time I got to "beautiful bracelet" and was funnier when I got to "I'm pretty fancy" (although by that point, it was obvious who the actual author was).

Kurt, I am having a good day; Just wanted to write a good word to you on the "surety" of the Word. The word says that God made JESUS the surety, or the guarantee for our life. I think that God is challenging us to dare to believe His Word and just see what Jesus will do.I can tell you that's exactly how I've lived my life over the last 40 or more years, and the best part is that He's never let me down. He has been trustworthy & He has been faithful. I have stability in my life. I may not always know how God is going to meet my needs, but I do know this - HE WILL - IT'S A SURE THING! Psalm 23:6 says SURELY goodness and mercy shall follow me. It's a sure thing - and it's working in my life all the time. If Satan tries to defeat me, I have this promise. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler (Psa. 91) That means it's a sure thing. I am going to be delivered! Think about it, Kurt! God's aware of what's going on around you, and He'll do whatever is necessary to take care of you if you will simply trust Him.
