We're in Montana this weekend to see family and to get Jen officially sworn in as a Montana attorney. It's so nice to be able to relax, slow down, get some perspective, and see God's country. Yesterday afternoon we went out to what we call the breaks. It was an awesome experience for me. This country is some of the most rugged country you will find anywhere - deep coulees, steep cliffs, and no people around! We went out on a point where you could look in 360 degrees and the only sign of humanity was a few fences and a dirt trail. It's such rugged, beautiful country that I coulnd't help but be overcome by the total sense of peace in the presence of the Almighty. As I sat there, my fear and trepidation of starting treatment just melted away, and I'm filled with a newfound confidence and ready to start the next battle in this war.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. It means so much to Jen and I!

So glad to hear you are home for this special occasion. Thanks for sharing the picture. We forget how awesome and quiet Montana is...Kurt, give your mother and dad an extra special hug... They need it. We are so proud of both you and Jennifer. You have gone thru quite a month, and have handled it so well. We wait to hear about the next month of treatments. Keep the faith...

Thinking of you all. SO glad you get to be at home and in peaceful country. Let the anxieties & fears disappear...
Is that snow?!?!?
Yeah, you got away!! So grateful that you both could escape and that Kurt could have this time to prepare mentally for the treatment. God's timing for this trip was perfect!!! I thank God for your faith in Him and continue to pray for you day and night!!!
Jen, congratulations!!!!

Congratulations Jennifer. I am so proud of you.
Relax and enjoy. I can not think of a better place to be!
Good to know you had a chance to get home and get out into the breaks - there's not many better spots to sit and let the openness wash over you.
Glad to hear you got in the trial - I'll be waiting for the updates.
Hey Kurt...
Montana looks beautiful. I'm glad you could get away for a while. Good luck with your upcoming treatment. I know that your are in the thought and prayers of many of your old co-workers at EVI, including myself. Let's have lunch sometime.
