So Tuesday, after all the 'roids they pumped me up with at the hospital, I was feeling great when I got home! Did some time on the treadmill, up and around no problems, feeling great. At some point Tuesday night I had a brick wall land on me. Yesterday it was about all I could do to walk around the house, and we have a tiny house. It was the weirdest feeling - my muscles just would only work for a couple minutes, then they flipped me the bird and told me it was time to sit down. So I listened to them and spent most of the day on my butt.
Today, I'm feeling a bit better so I'm going to run into work for a while. The anti-nausea meds they have me on are working very well - I haven't had any problems. My infuser pump comes out today at 1:00 pm (woo hoo I can shower again!) and I'm pretty stoked about that.
I know it may be a bit premature, but my pain level in my side is the lowest it's been since this whole thing started in August. I know that these drugs are working!

Kurt, my friend! Happy that you are having some good times. I know it may be difficult, but if you can RELAX and "Let God Be God", 'twill be good! You have turned control over to HIM. I know He's going to fix you better than you could anyway! I'm so glad that you are strong, have so much heart and are humble enough to let GOD be in charge - I've had to do that many times in my life, so I KNOW that it works. IN II Peter 5:5-7, it speaks of humility. I have had to say God, in the natural, I can't do this, but I humble myself, saying to God, God I can't do this, but I know in the SUPERnatural, you CAN do it! - Under the mighty hand of God. PTL
He will EXALT you in due time -- HE WILL, He's not a man, that he could lie. HE keeps His word!! We say, God, I don't care -- (v.7) I cast all my care, all my worry, and anxiety on you -- YOU SAID, GOD, that you will bring me through! HE GETS THE LAST WORD
Keep a cool head! Stay alert. Remember, Kurt, that you are in the battle of your life. The Devil is poised to pounce & would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You're not the only one plunged into this hard time. It's the same with Christians all over the world. SO, keep a firm grip on the faith. Your suffering won't last forever. It won't be long before this generous God who has g reat plans for you in Christ --- eternal & glorious plans they are! will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; YES, HE DOES!
I know that you have been working on some weapons of warfare. Now, get into the Word and build your spiritual weapons of warfare!! I have great confidence in you and am behind you in PRAYER. Loving you always, G'Ma D
