Today has to be some sort of record quick day for chemo for me. I had a CT scan this morning, so I got on the road a little before 7, was waiting for port access by 7:50, and was in the waiting room for the CT at 8:15. By the time I got out of the CT at 9:30, I swung by to say hi to Margaret on my way over to breakfast. She called me at 9:45 to let me know that the chemo was ready! Now I've got about 40 minutes or so left and I'm out of here! Jen got sick yesterday, so I made her stay home so she doesn't infect the chemo ward up here. Usually it ends up being a real C.F. when she's not here, but today's going really well so far.
I also had an MRI over at U of MD yesterday. We finally met face-to-face with the SIR-Sphere doctor over there, and we're waiting on those results to see what the plan will be with that treatment. Tuesday he's going to present my case to the UMD tumor board, so we should have some good info then as to what we're dealing with now.
Stay tuned for updates!
