Today's scan showed no change from the last scan. The radiologist compared today's result to the baseline test from September (normally they just compare the test to the previous one) and it confirmed that there has been significant reductions overall, but nothing new over the last 12 weeks. Like Kurt mentioned in some of his posts this week, the side effects are starting to pick up a little, so there doesn't seem to be much reason to keep doing this cocktail of drugs.
We'll post more later - we are still processing and thinking about
next steps. And looking for a wall to kick. I know we shouldn't be
frustrated, but we are. Need to start getting more aggressive.

OK, so we must PRESS IN, Double our efforts (PRAYER, ENCOURAGING, THANKSGIVING) & MOST of all, we PRAY FOR WISDOM. Wisdom for Kurt/Jen to make the right decisions, for guidance for them. & we pray for WISDOM for all the Doctors; and for REVELATION KNOWLEDGE for all involved in getting this healing done. Revelation Knowledge is what comes from God and is exactly the thing that needs doing at the time -- All you pray-ers and intercessors, double up on your prayer time; ASK the Lord to reveal to you exactly what HE would have you do. It's important to keep the family built up, so parents, keep standing strong. & Remember, GOD is still on the throne. He hasn't forgotten you, Kurt.

We are all walking, fighting, believing, praying, and battling right alongside you, Kurt & Jen. We love you lots!!
Have been so moved by your recent blogs. Yes, you have to fight. That is God's plan. remember, that you are his agent to those around you. Keep up the cheerful, positive attitude. We do not know what He has planned for us -- and aren't we glad. You are in our prayers and we ask Him to put his arms around you and keep you close through whatever comes your way. We pray that your doctors and associates will do all they can for you . Know that your families and friends love you also. Keep up the good fight.

Keep thinking positively Kurt and drawing strength from those around you and your faith. Even though this setback is difficult I believe it will illuminate another path to beat the cancer back. I know there is a plan for you to beat this and I'm confident that you're plenty strong to weather any bumps along that plan.
If you need some cheering up just remember what the great motivator Bluto Blutarsky said when his friends were down:
"What? Over? Did you say 'over'? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain't over now! 'Cause when the going gets tough…the tough get going! Who's with me? Let's go!
"Don't go where the path may lead. Instead, forge a new path and leave a trail." You can do it. We're all behind you.
