Drip drip drip

On the juice again. Today is the first day in a year that the chemo was actually here at its scheduled time of 9:30. That NEVER happens. It also happens that it's the day the dudes at the food court decided that they weren't really in the mood to make the pancakes that myself and an angry mob were waiting for... go figure.

Had another CT this morning. This one was a CT with contrast that they somehow didn't schedule concurrently with the PET-CT I had last week... More images to get all the docs on the same page and to see where we're at. I may have the report before I leave today, so we'll see.

In unrelated news, I'm going to nominate Jen for the Nobel prize in economics next year since she gave a hell of a speech on green energy financing earlier this year. It looks like a good speech is the new standard for that "honor"...

And please, please call your congressmen and senators and urge them not to support the health insurance reform now circulating. While it is a tragedy that there are uninsured people that get sick and can't get treatment, re-engineering the entire health care system to bring in these people is completely unnecessary. If any reforms need to be made, address the uninsured ONLY, not the entire system.

/rants.

HI Kurt,
I'm re-writing my congressmen as you suggested. I hope you don't mind, but I am sort of copying what you have suggested, in my letters. You have a special gift for explaining the medical jargon. God Bless You today as you once again walk through this treatment. Just know that God is still working in your body and in your life. You are going to be able to help someone (I'm sure you already have) with a good word or action in due season.) I thank God each day for the good, positive attitude of you and Jen! I know that if you wrote down your blessings, you would have a very long list even with this 'Stupid Cancer". Don't forget that even tho' the battles are long and tough, you ARE WINNING THE WAR!!! Hallelujah & PTL!! Keep in the WORD -- that's what gives you the strength & wisdom to keep "Pressing In". We are seeing "white" here this a.m., but a cold wind, too. Oh Well, I will soon be on Island time, as I will be spending a couple months in HI soon. You could come over and join us!
GOD is fighting for you, too. I hope you're learning to turn your battles over to GOD!! He sees the big picture. I will write more after I study up on this subject a bit more. Have a wonderful wkend!
Love you - G'ma D

Hey Kurt,

No worries with The Big "O" in charge. Must have won the latest award for not getting "peaced off" at the olympic rejection.

Love ya,

Dad
